It may have been four frustrating years in the making, but HAIM have done it again with Something to Tell You. Its shimmery magic picks up where Days are Gone left off, modern and nostalgic and super addicting.

The first two singles off the album have already created major buzz. The video for ‘Right Now,’ directed by the always incredible Paul Thomas Anderson, is a close-up look at the sisters in action, showcasing their raw talent and multi-instrumental prowess. The Fleetwood Mac-esque ‘Want You Back,’ gets under your skin from the first listen. It’s a power ballad in pure HAIM fashion, letting the sisters draw upon past influences, leaving enough wiggle room for their own dynamic authenticity.

The band’s second SNL appearance this past Saturday marked the debut of their third single, ‘Little of Your Love,’ where their signature three part harmony complements its slightly harder edge. The full album, which releases officially July 7th from Columbia Records, promises to plunge these icons in the making a bit deeper into rock history. Proving once and for all HAIM’s ultimate transcendence from the dirty moniker of girl band. These women are musicians, period.
