Boston’s own Couch, the band, got off their couches to tour in support of their debut album, Big Talk. Of course they’d stop at home on this tour. The hometown crowd showed up in force – selling out Roadrunner and marking their largest show as a band with a whopping 3,500 tickets sold. This show was poised to be something special and, safe to say, it was.
If you ever get a chance to see a band performing in their hometown, don’t miss out.
Couch’s lead singer, Tema Siegel, stole the show the moment she hit the stage. Her energy is unmatched and her bubbly personality and demeanor is on display as she’s bouncing around on stage and having fun with her friends and bandmates. Her bandmates, as well, fed off that energy – having fun on stage and putting on a tremendous show for the fans in attendance.
The setlist was heavily their new album, but was sprinkled with a bunch of their classics and a fun cover of Britney Spears’ Toxic.
The tour is just getting underway, so if you’ve got the opportunity to catch one of their shows – don’t miss it. This is just the beginning for Couch and the sky is truly the limit.
