Alternative rock band Surfing for Daisy are thrilled to release their new single, “Hot Blood,” available now on all streaming platforms. This track is the 4th single release off their upcoming sophomore album.

The band shares:
“Hot Blood is an upbeat, feel good, rock jam that just makes you want to dance. It has this persistent intensity that was crafted to make people loosen up, move around and get lost in the music rather than the heaviness of the lyrics. It is a nod back to our bluesy, raw rock and roll inspired roots.”

In support of the new release, Surfing for Daisy will continue touring throughout the year, including a highly anticipated appearance in Chicago, IL at Lollapalooza on the BMI Stage, Sunday, August 2nd from 2:10-2:50PM. A full list of tour dates can be found below.

Surfing for Daisy began on a porch in Asbury Park, NJ, among a circle of new and old friends. Their sound is rooted in alternative folk rock with touches of psychedelia, though it ultimately resists easy categorization, moving fluidly between genres and moods.

The band has quickly gained momentum, performing at the Sea.Hear.Now Festival in September 2025 in front of thousands. That momentum has continued as the band builds toward the release of their forthcoming sophomore album, following a sold-out show at The Stone Pony last year as well.
