This past Friday night saw Pink Talking Fish take to the stage at The Wellmont Theater in Montclair, New Jersey. Combining the music of Pink Floyd, Talking Heads and Phish into one live experience, the ‘hybrid tribute fusion act’ kept fans on their toes with a mix of mash-ups. Highlights included when the band put their own spin on the Talking Heads tune, ‘This Must Be the Place (Naive Melody’), Pink Floyd’s ‘Mother,’ and Boston’s ‘Foreplay / Long Time’, which had the entire house clapping along.
