Sister Sparrow (nee Arleigh Kincheloe) has released the highly anticipated new studio album, Gold, via Thirty Tigers. The album contains the singles, “Ghost,” “Gold” and “Bad Habit,” which display the evolution of Sister Sparrow’s sound, showcasing her immense voice while fusing her classic soul-rock sound with a contemporary pop approach. Produced and co-written in collaboration with Carter Matschullat (Chef’Special, Secret Weapons) at Brooklyn’s DØØM Studio, Gold sees Sister Sparrow expressing herself like never before.

In support of Gold, Sister Sparrow is currently on a major U.S. tour backed by her brass-fueled combo, The Dirty Birds. It’s already off to a strong start, with numerous festival appearances and a sold-out show supporting Nathaniel Rateliff and The Night Sweats at Thompson’s Point in Portland, Maine. They’ve just announced a run of special New Year’s Eve dates, including December 29th at Levon Helm Studios, and December 31st at The Warehouse in Fairfield, CT., where their live album, Fowl Play, was recorded. From January 15th to 21st, they’ll perform on Jamcruise for the second time.
