Gogol Bordello, with special guest DeVotchKa, will perform on a boat aptly named the Liberty Belle on Thursday, April 6, 2017. As an eight-piece band with members who have immigrated to the United States from locations such as Ukraine, Russia, Ethiopia and Ecuador, immigration is a subject close to the band’s heart. The proceeds from this intimate performance will be donated to the ACLU, which is on the front lines in the fight for immigrants’ rights.

Says Eugene Hütz, “Immigration naturally enriches culture and human resource of any country. It is a complicated, sensitive subject to consider with care and love…”.

The Liberty Belle will depart from Pier 36 at 299 South St. and will sail the New York Harbor, providing the perfect backdrop for this special event – the Statue of Liberty.

A very limited ticket pre-sale will begin on Wednesday, March 15th at 12:00 PM ET. Tickets go on sale to the general public on Friday, March 17th at 12:00 PM ET
