The first day of the 2014 Austin City Limits Festival seemed to go off without a hitch – the weather was warm and the festival was well organized, seeing generally short entrance lines. Some of the highlights from Day One included sets by Night Terrors of 1927 and Young and Sick – both opened up their respective stages to good-sized crowds early on. Many a set-time conflict split crowds between headliners Outkast and Beck, but music fans still got their share of entertainment via Capital Cities, Bleachers, Chvrches, Sam Smith, Childish Gambino and Foster the People to name a few.
