Central Park’s SummerStage held the annual City Parks Foundation Gala this past Monday night. The evening honored Jean-Yves Fillion of BNP Paribas USA and former Aerosmith front man Steven Tyler for his work with Janie’s Fund. Unfortunately the concert with Steven Tyler and the Loving Mary Band began in a pouring rain storm and only got through two songs, including Sweet Emotions before park officials emptied the park due to the threat of lightning.
