This past Monday and Tuesday night saw jazz trumpeter Keyon Harrold take up residency at Dizzy’s Club Coca Cola in Columbus Circle. As part of the FONT Music Festival, Keyon premiered new music off The Flow Anthology and spoke about his forthcoming album, The Mugician. Highlights of the night included an ode to Charles Tolliver (who was in attendance) and an emotional playing of “MB Lament”, a track inspired by Ferguson native Michael Brown.

For those who missed it, Keyon returns to the Blue Note in New York City on September 24th.
