Central Park SummerStage saw a trio of popular and energetic indie bands take the stage – The Head and the Heart, Lone Bellow, and The Shelters.
Opening act The Shelters played a set featuring the hit song, “Rebel Heart” (band members also have writing credits on Tom Petty’s 2014 album, Hypnotic Eye). Next up, The Lone Bellow previewed tracks on their new album “Walk into A Storm”, which is out now. Then, headliner The Head and the Heart led off their set with their big hit, “All We Ever Knew”.
