Guitar Mash is returning to City Winery on November 16th for another round of epic jam sessions, all played for a good cause. A massive play-along sing-along will be led by six guitar heroes supported by Guitar Mash musical director Mark Stewart and a stellar house band. Among the special guests will be Chilean folk-rock phenomenon Nano Stern and “Godfather of Americana” David Bromberg.

The goal of the New York based non-profit organization is to return music to its social, participatory roots, where everyone can dive into the shared experience via one instrument that rewards the player nearly instantly.

The full line-up of featured artists will be announced October 15, 2014. Past participants include Nels Cline (Wilco), “Captain” Kirk Douglas (The Roots), Larry Campbell, Kaki King, and Vernon Reid, among others.
