Funk legend Bernie Worrell got a little help from his friends on Monday night as an all-star cast came together for a benefit ‘funkraiser’ in his honor. Artists including Living Colour, Jerry Harrison of Talking Heads, Paul Shaffer, Meryl Streep, Rick Springfield, Nona Hendryx, Ahmir “Questlove” Thompson, Fred Schneider of the B-52’s, Buckethead, the Black Rock Coalition Orchestra and more appeared at New York’s Webster Hall to celebrate the music of a true icon.

Coined All The WOO In The World, the show was organized to help raise funds for Worrell’s medical expenses as he fights Stage 4 lung cancer, prostate, and liver cancer. Friends and fans alike came out to support the keyboardist and Rock and Roll Hall of Fame member, who has performed with the top acts like Parliament Funkadelic and Talking Heads.

You can donate to the cause via a fund set up by Sweet Relief here
