Chris Cornell brought Beacon Theatre to its knees during his marathon solo performance on November 16th. The twenty-six song set included songs from Cornell’s days in Soundgarden, Audioslave, and Temple of the Dog, as well as nods to Cat Stevens, Michael Jackson, and Van Morrison. And just when you thought you’d seen all the tricks up his sleeve, the man of the hour played a ‘double cover’ mash-up that featured the instrumental from U2’s ‘One’ with the lyrics to Metallica’s ‘One’.
