Despite the unfortunate rainfall, this year’s Sound Mind Festival For Mental Health in Brooklyn, on Saturday remained a vibrant and uplifting event. The festival, headlined by Iron & Wine and featuring Hiss Golden Messenger, Langhorne Slim, KAMAUU, and Pom Pom Squad, attracted resilient attendees who refused to let the weather dampen their spirits. The beats of DJs at the House of Yes kept the crowd moving during the breaks.

In addition to the musical performances, the festival offered a variety of holistic wellness activities such as yoga, meditation, breathwork, and sound baths. Panels and conversations centered around crucial topics like Mental Health in the LGBTQ+ Community, and The Importance of Lived Experience further enriched the festival experience.
