The Avett Brothers kicked off three nights at Red Rocks Amphitheater in Morrison, CO on Friday, July 11th. Opening the first night was Bob Weir & Rat Dog, who played an hour long set featuring a number of Grateful Dead hits. Then the Avett Brothers played a two hour set starting with “Satan Pulls the Strings” and finishing with the hits, “Ill With Want” and “Slight Figure of Speech”. Rebecca Reed reporting from Colorado…
